Kelly Wheeler, MPH
Kelly Wheeler, a 2007 Doctoral Presidential Fellow, obtained a Masters in Public Health from Walden University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health from the same, specializing in community health education and promotion. She also attained a B.A. in Humanities with a concentration in communications in 2001 from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
As a communications expert, health educator, and researcher, Mrs. Wheeler has worked as a practitioner and scholar within both nonprofit and academic sectors for the past 7 years, and she has taught women’s health for the past 2 years at Christian Women’s Job Corps of Greater Baytown, a local nonprofit organization that provides job and life skills to indigent women to empower and inspire them to improve the quality of their lives.
