Kelly was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. Growing up, sports was always apart of Kelly’s world. Whether it was playing in a neighborhood ball game, participating on high school teams, or indulging a weekend tournament, Kelly would be ready to play a game. He also is an avid viewer of sports. As a 40 year season ticket holder for the Angel games, he has attended thousands of games.

Professionally, Kelly went to culinary school and worked under some outstanding chefs. He shifted gears and then worked for several motion picture film labs in Hollywood. Later, Kelly worked in sound for episodic television. Kelly is now retired and enjoys staying up to date with college and professional football, and of course, baseball.
