Kelly Irving

With 4 years of experience as a Junior Interior Designer at Group 5 Design, while also enduring the full-time Bachelor of Interior Design Degree Program at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Kelly has advanced time management skills and proven to be a creative thinker and problem solver.

Having professional experience at a boutique firm, working on large-scale workplace projects, has resulted in her strong ability to work with a small collective team, be pro-active and take initiative. Additional experience as a freelance interior designer, privately hired to renovate the lobbies and common spaces of residential apartment buildings, has developed Kelly’s ability to also work independently, communicating professionally with her own clients.

Inspired by her travels and adventures, Kelly is passionate about interior design and architecture. Kelly also enjoys giving back to her community, volunteering her time at Union Gospel Mission (UGM), serving meals to those in need on the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver.

Kelly will be graduating from BCIT’s CIDA accredited Bachelor of Interior Design Program in April and will be seeking a Junior Interior Design position.
