Ever since I was a little girl, I loved pretending I was a doctor. I would put princess Band-Aids on everyone, trying to make them feel better. Next thing I know I am in college and on the track to become a nurse; not a doctor, but I still get to use princess Band-Aids. I want to be a nurse because I truly enjoy helping people; I want everyone to be the best they can be, whether it is health related or life in general. I realized this by serving overseas on several different mission trips. My dream is to be a missionary overseas and help others by tending to their medical needs. Baking is another big part of my life; it is a way I can escape from everything around me for a little while. It has also allowed me and my mom to grow closer together as we share our love for cooking. While in college and being away from my mom I know we have become more distant; however, I know as soon as we step into the kitchen we will be able to pick up right where we left off. As far as writing goes, I am terrible. It is always a struggle to put words on paper, but then somehow it all comes together. It reminds me of cooking, where everything is a mess at first, but then everything comes together to become a work everyone can enjoy. All of this, and more, make up who I am today, and who I will become.
