I have come to adopt Elliot W. Eisner’s, author and professor of Art Education at Stanford University, description of education. He says, education is “a process of learning how to become the architect of your own experience and therefore learning how to create yourself” (Eisner, 2002). I believe that every student has the right to transformative experience as a way of achieving autonomous flourishment through knowledge gain.
