Kelly Greene
Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
I am a 23 year old journalism student at Sheffield University.
Looking to get into either journalism or social media marketing, I have completed a variety of relevant and invaluable work experience placements.
After a three month freelance internship at Large Manchester I learnt to use ADF media and built up my portfolio. I also have a good understanding of all social media platforms, with basic HTML and CSS skills.
Skills I've gained from my degree include shorthand, photoshop, Indesign and Final Cut Pro X editing skills.
In addition, I have completed two work experience placements for the Daily Mirror's Celebs on Sunday magazine, a weeks work experience at The Telegraph and the Times newspapers in London.
Other work experience includes work experience at Closer magazine and working as social media manager for Science Wizards alongside my degree.
Currently employed part time for The Chat Shop whilst I complete my degree.
As a keen skier and travelling enthusiast, I have worked a ski season and a summer season for Mark Warner. I am hoping to explore the world once my money tree starts to grow.
Originally born in sunny South Africa, the last 13 years of my life I have spent growing up in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
