Kelly Mack

Kelly Mack grew up in the Bronx. He was raised in the Bronx River Houses better known as the "Home of Hip Hop". He got to see Hip Hop rise from the ashes as Afrika Bambatta and The Mighty Zulu Nation got everyone to stop the violence and make Hip Hop a way of life. Rolling with his neighbors the 55 Cru aka The Original Violators- Baby Chris, Chris Ali, Big Rod, Sneaky D, Hanz aka Black Jesus and Kool DJ Red Alert he got to see the Hip Hop scene flourish. He got his first dose of the entertainment business with his father Larney Rutledge getting him work on tv and film sets with legendary casting director Sylvia Fay. Later on getting caught up in the streets, playing ball, and dancing in clubs he made a name for himself. He was then introduced to some of the music industries elite executives who took a liking to him which landed him a internship at Columbia Records. While there he teamed up with Noizeworld management and creatively put together and shopped the demos of up and coming artist's Mase, Cam'Ron and Cardan. Kelly landed Mase a deal at Bad Boy with Sean Combs, Cam"Ron at Untertainment with Lance "Un" Rivera (because of the Notorious B.I.G.'s interest in him) and Cardan at Penalty Recordings with Neil Levine. He also had a successful career working at MCA, Penalty Recordings, Pallas, J Records and Ruff Ryder Entertainment holding executive positions in retail marketing, radio/video promotions and A&R. Kelly's knack for picking hit singles, got him lots of consultant work with various artists. Kelly has also wrote and co-produced with various artists that have sold millions of copies. He is currently putting together an album called "The Deal Is Done" and working with veteran and new up and coming producers and artists for his newly formed Mack Music Group. Kelly Mack is ready to set it off for 2013 and he plans for it to be an explosive year.
