One of my strengths from StrengthsQuest was Relator. I feel that this strength describes me best. To me being a relator means that I like to understand people's lives and issues. I like to be able to see things from other people's perspectives. It also means that I have a few close friends and that I value having close relationships with other people. This impacts my life socially. I enjoy getting to know others but I don't always enjoy hanging out with a lot of different people. I have a few friends who I am really close with and that is what is important to me.

In the Lessons from a First Year Buckeye assignment, I got to take a look back at everything that I had done and accomplished in my first semester. It made me realize the things that I wish I had done differently and be proud of the things I had done well or new things I had tried. Starting the new semester I will try and also apply some of the lessons I learned in my first semester to be even more successful to end my first year off strong.

In the Dream Job assignment I was able to explore possible career opportunities in the future. I learned that being a dietitian doesn't have to mean creating meal plans and guiding patients on their nutritional goals everyday. The job description I found was for a company who I have regularly purchased food from before. Working for this company would be a very exciting job. Doing this assignment helped me set new goals for the future that will motivate me in the years ahead at Ohio State.
