Kelly was born in China and moved to Chicago, Illinois at the age of ten with her family. After school, she moved out to Los Angeles to explore more business opportunities. From early on she always knew she would be an entrepreneur and with each year that passes she continues to build her collection of companies she is involved in. Her most noticeable accomplishment is her position as General Partner at Be Great Partners, the Los Angeles based startup incubator recently recognized by Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti as one of the most influential companies that will change the tech startup eco-system of Los Angeles in coming years. IN addition to her involved at Be Great Partners, she is also Managing Partner at Skinny Bikini, a high fashion swimwear line and she has her own real estate investment company that year over year continues to grow. Kelly's work does not stop at merely business dealings as she has a passion for charity and is devoted philanthropist.

Kelly is a firm believer that one's success should be used to inspire others and to help people that are less fortunate. In tandem with her professional career she is involved in various charities both domestically and internationally. In 2013 she was appointed the first and only international ambassador for Prince Harry's charity Well Child. Kelly also has an active involved in Pencil of Promise, a charity that builds schools in developing countries. Her most recent event, Be Great Fest 2013 in association with Be Great Partners, raised enough money to build an entire school. She is also on the advisory board for Chinese Children Initiatives (CCI) UNICEF. With each year that passes, Kelly continues to build both her professional portfolio and increase the ways she gives back to the community.
