Kelly Miller

Kelly is an Entrepreneur, Accountant and Business Advisor living in Blenheim, New Zealand. She is passionate about helping clients set their business up correctly right from the beginning, provide training in how to do your monthly accounting functions efficiently using the awesome apps and software programs out there. Gone are the days of spending hours doing book work. Thanks to technology, accounting has got fun! Well maybe that is going a bit far but is certainly a lot easier now days.

The term Accountant can mean so many things and it certainly does for her. Through both working for others and her three businesses, she has hands on experience in all areas of business. Whilst, Kelly does work in all areas with clients, she specialises in taxation, implementing accounting programs such as Xero, training clients on how to use these programs and presenting various workshops such as 'Master Your Financial Skills', 'Xero Basics', Xero Advanced',and 'Xero Payroll'.

One business she co owns, Sass, covers the main areas of running a successful business so clients can confidently outsource bookkeeping, accounting, marketing, get a business coach/advisor and even attend any of their training workshops aimed at small business owners and key personnel.

In early 2018, with her business partner Lisa Johnston, they purchased another business (Opt4 Personnel) that they are happy to not work in on a daily basis, but lead from the top (doing exactly what we are helping clients achieve).

Kelly and her husband also own a cattery. Her husband runs this on a day to day basis and she likes to say that she is a glorified cleaner in the weekends whilst doing the books on the side.

When she is not working, she spend s time with husband, family and friends, hanging out with the animals on their lifestyle block ( she is secretly obsessed with alpacas), fishing down the beautiful Marlborough Sounds and travelling.

Her burning desire is to be able to take one month off and do volunteer work at an animal sanctuary in Costa Rica.
