Currently, I am completing an MA in Psychology Counselling. My former education started back in 1990 with a diploma in the fine arts with a focus on clay sculpture and 3D spacial awareness. My undergraduate degree focused on today's North American Obesity crisis and aboriginal communities. I have spent the last couple of years on a self-directed study to understand the psychology of obesity using a framework of our social valuing process at the University of Victoria.
My graduate studies are focused on the post-modern approach of Narrative therapies and the retelling of one's self-identity about the ancestral teaching of storytelling in aboriginal cultures. My hope is through storytelling and generating our identities we will all find peace of who we are and where we fit in this world for greater well-being.
