Kelly J Routh is not new to the nonprofit world and has a little over 10 years of experience. Her experience lies in helping others who are developmentally disabled, struggle with addiction and homelessness and legal trouble.
A few of the organizations she has worked with are: The Arc ofthe Ozarks, ICTS (Improving Community Treatment Success) at Preferred Family Healthcare,Polk County House of Hope domestic shelter, James River Church, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Boys and Girls Club.
She has promoted events for Lewis Boxing Gym and attended meetings with MIB (Minorities in Business) as well as volunteered for many other organizations.
As Treasurer of A Girl Like Me Network Kelly’s role is to reconcile bank accounts and produces financial statements, which are presented at board meetings, ensure tax-related documents and legal forms are filed on time, such as the documents required to maintain the organization’s tax-exempt status, serves as chair of the finance committee and financial officer of the organization,manages, with the finance committee, the board’s review of and action on its financial responsibilities, assist the chief executive or the chief financial officer in preparing the annual budget and presenting it to the board for approval and review the annual audit and answers board members’ questions. Kelly also has a duty to assist with the volunteer committee.
Kelly graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Human Services from Colorado Technical University, and also holds certificates in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Everest College and Early Childhood, Southwest Missouri State University. She has many continuing education hours in ethics, abuse and neglect, workplace violence, health and safety, autism spectrum disorder, paraclete, confidentiality, applied behavioral analysis, HIPAA,and Medicaid fraud to name a few. She is certified in MANDT, CPI, First Aide, CPR, and Medication Administration.
Kelly J Routh enjoys assisting various groups of people in advocating for them and finding a way for them to be successful.
Kelly’s mission is to serve others, contribute to society, grow in her expertise and learn new skills.
