Meet Kelsey,

Normal, IL

Kelsey Farrell is a sophomore at Illinois State University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. She can also often be found working on a plate of mozzerella sticks, and she typically succeeds.

Kelsey started her humble foray into the world of journalism by writing for her high school newspaper (which she eventually became the Editor-in-Chief of...her rule was benevolent and modeled after her hero, Rory Gilmore) and writing for a little known paper called "The Mash," the kid sister of the "Red Eye" and the loving daughter of "The Chicago Tribune."

Kelsey is currently in her second year at Illinois State University, majoring in journalism and minoring in political science in the middle of the cornfields. On campus, Kelsey is a features writer for "The Vidette" and a social media intern for ISU's Office of Admissions. When she's not hitting the books she writes for "Euphemism," the school's literary journal, and contributes to various sketch comedy shows. She's not that funny.

If you're looking for a smart, self-motivated worker who is proficent in Microsoft Word, Kelsey's your gal. She's also your gal if you need to manage a social media site or learn information about the 2008 Broadway musical "Glory Days."

For the record, Kelsey is a little uncomfortable talking in the third person but she's working on it. She promises she responds to e-mails and general inquries in the first person, unless you're really enjoying the third person thing...then she'll keep it up.
