Kelsey Sarro

Hello! My name is Kelsey Sarro. I am 21 years old and live in Rochelle Park, NJ. Currently, I am a student at Montclair State University majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.

I have been working for Modell's Sporting Goods since 2013 and I am currently a head cashier. I enjoy working in such a unique environment when it comes to retail. I have played sports for most of my life and I like being a part of the journey athletes take, especially at a young age, when they begin to get involved in sports. I feel that working in an atmosphere that is both demanding and fast-paced with each season of sports helps me to build stronger communication skills. Due to all the different types of customers, I have learned how to handle each new situation that comes my way and make sure that every customer leaves with a positive shopping experience. I have learned how to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner. I also help train new employees and fundraise every time we partner with a charity or the Hackensack UMC Fitness & Wellness Powered by the Giants.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling. Some of the places I have been to are Alaska, the Grand Canyon, and the Bahamas. I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people. I like being outdoors, but I also enjoy reading. I am a big fan of the performing arts and will take trips into the city to see Broadway shows.
