Kemba Hall

Brooklyn, New York, United States

Kemba Hall studies Electrical Engineering and is a rising sophomore from the University of Delaware. As a freshman she was eager to get involved with many organizations on campus and became the treasurer for her residence hall. She will also be a Career Service Ambassador for the upcoming academic year.

Before attending college Kemba made her first blue print of a college dorm. In college she has become familiar with computer programing and computer engineering. As she continues in her undergraduate years she will be exposed to more areas of computer programming and electrical engineering. This exposure will lead her to create technical projects and solutions with her peers. She is interested in learning about research opportunities and networking events. In her spare time she enjoys reading quotes, shopping, trying new foods, and spending time with her friends and family.

Her dream is to obtain her PhD and to teach in an area of STEM at a University. Her motivation to teach in the STEM field is due to the lack of diversity that is currently in the field. Kemba thinks more diverse minds create better things together. She believes that everyone should be accepted in the skin that they are in, the background they come from, and the thoughts that they have. Kemba is passionate about the future in the world of technology and hopes to be a part of it.
