Ken Nakanishi

2nd Year Masters of Teaching in Primary/Junior at OISE

Born and raised in Toronto but I love exploring different parts of Canada and the world; hence, my slightly nomadic lifestyle.

Originally, I wanted to pursue a career in forensics, which is why I have a degree in criminology and bioarchaeological anthropology because I thought it would be cool like the CSI on tv. But I soon realized that I did not want to look at dead bodies all day everyday.

All of my experience revolves around working with children and youth, so I figured that was the route I should have taken and so I decided to apply to the MT program while I was teaching in Indonesia, and when I came back to Canada, lo and behold, there was my acceptance letter and that was when I thought, "teaching is for me."
