Ken Byrne

With 25 years of successful sales, operations and business management experience, I created the Byrne Strategy Group. I have built and led national and global sales organizations as well as created and instilled disciplined, repeatable sales processes, highly motivating incentive models and developed numerous sales channels.

Recently, I was Managing Director and Global Head of Sales and Business Development for RealTick (formerly Townsend Analytics). I helped convert RealTick from an internal R&D technology shop into a globally thriving commercial sales organization growing the business to more than $58 million in annual revenue. I led the integration of RealTick into Eze Software Group following the acquisition of all three by private equity firm TPG in early 2013.

Before being recruited to RealTick, I co-founded and led sales for FlexiSphere, a financial services cloud computing company. There I created the “Go to Market” strategy, product packaging and pricing for Wall Street’s first virtual vendor mall offering content, applications, research and services via a single cloud connection.

My many consulting credentials include commercial policy and contract strategy advisory work for SecurityScorecard - the cyber security grading service, a yearlong engagement with Liquidnet – the institutional trading network and multiple engagements advising Washington, DC based INPUT (later acquired by Deltek) on sales structure, sales process and performance measurement.
