I'm an engineer, brother, real estate developer, uncle, writer, entrepreneur and angel investor, son, consultant, and godfather who spends a lot of his time dancing, skiing, trail running, playing soccer or rock climbing.

I manage environmental impact assessments
& perform geochemical materials
characterization studies for major
international development projects.

I feel that investment in the education of our youth is important.

I grew up in a small suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. I've lived in Des Moines, Iowa City, Atlanta, Wales, Spain, and now Denver. I'm into travel, languages (I speak Spanish, with a lisp), reading, rock climbing (in over ten countries to date), free diving (recently set a PR in the Sea of Cortez), and running (most enjoyable run has been the Jungfrau Marathon in Switzerland).
