Writer, Filmmaker, and Actor in California
Thank you for your interest in knowing more about me. I was born on October 25 in Bayview, San Francisco, California. As a child, I was actively involved in ballet, piano, pageantry, and story writing. During middle school, I discovered my passion for writing through the Bayview Library’s Young, Gifted, and Bayview program, where I performed and published my first poetry piece. I competed in the 100m sprints, was an honor student, and was awarded Activities Director of my graduating class at 21st Century Academy. I later graduated from Raoul Wallenberg High School and continued my education at Skyline College.
I had the honor of representing Bayview in the Miss California Pageant, which led to appearances on 106 KMEL, The Heat Magazine, and The Bayview Newspaper. I earned an Associate’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities and received a full academic scholarship from The Omega Boys and Girls Club. I then transferred to California State University, Los Angeles, to study Theatre Arts and Dance. While there, I performed at The Arc in Pasadena, taught Hip Hop choreography at Plaza de la Raza, and starred in Reality Bites with Becton Production, Slaphouse, and more.
I later attended UCLA’s Professional Program in Acting for the Camera, where I discovered the power of independence in my craft. This program challenged me to refine my skills, embrace my individuality, and take ownership of my artistic journey.
I went on to complete several poetry and film projects and performed at The Study in Hollywood. I also contributed to content creation for Ambition Ladies Agency on ROKU TV, collaborating with artists like Tianne King of Mommy and Me Production, among others.
Eventually, I co-founded The Abundant Companies LLC, a privately-owned investment company. After two decades of creative exploration, I am proud to present Little Bird Project—an evocative, soul-baring poetry project that dares to be both intimately personal and universally resonant. Get ready to lose yourself in the rhythm, sensuality, and smooth vibe of Little Bird, launching in 2025. Stay tuned to my social media platforms for the official release.
This is more than poetry. This is an invitation.
Thank you so much for your time and support.
Sincerely,
Kenessa
