Ken Farmer

Born in 1951, raised on farm in Caswell County NC. Graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School in 1969. Graduated from NC State University in 1973. Worked from Raleigh Fire Department from 1973 to 1978. Worked for NC Fire Commission from 1978 to 1985. Worked as Director of Fire Rescue Training for NC Community Colleges from 1985 to 2002. Retired in 2002 and did consulting. Took job with National Fire Academy in 2007
