Ken Garschina

Ken Garschina is the founder and principal of Mason Capital Management, LLC, a Manhattan firm launched in 2000 that pursues event-driven investments. Along with a partner, he raised seed capital totaling $50 million to open the firm and subsequently attained a net return of nearly 10 percent within the firm’s first six months. Previously, Ken Garschina served as the director of research and portfolio manager with KS Capital Partners, also in Manhattan, where he managed more than $60 million in an event-driven portfolio, consistently maintaining performance between 15 and 30 percent. In this role, he also developed experience in complex corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, and antitrust-driven arbitrage.

Ken Garschina began his career as a summer research analyst with Alliance Capital Management in London, where he conducted econometric analysis, followed by two years as a research analyst with KS Capital Partners. He holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
