It is quite challenging to explain what I do in abstract terms, so let me tell you a short story.

Meet Jack*, who was getting dozens of irrelevant job notifications from recruiters.

Jack was interested in becoming a business intelligence analyst in a world-class insurance company. He was looking for a salary of €70,000, and his desired location was Cork.

Every time a recruiter approached him, Jack explained why the job was irrelevant. "I'm not willing to move to Dublin." "€40,000 is too low for me to consider." "No, BI doesn't stand for basic income." But the recruiters kept on coming. Jack became tired, and he gave up on all recruitment companies.

But then our team at Cpl came along. We asked Jack what he wanted, and Jack, cursing under his breath, told me exactly what he wanted. I wrote that down and shared the information with the entire Cpl team.

Moreover, I asked Jack to share his CV. Jack did, and we did a few back-and-forth to make sure that Jack's CV had the strongest possible presentation. I then shared his CV with, again, the entire Cpl team.

A few weeks later, Jack gets an email from another Cpl recruiter working on BI roles: 75K, Cork, Top insurance company looking for a BI analyst. Fits the bill! Jack applies, and gets all the support he deserves throughout the interview process. The hiring manager is impressed, Jack is comfortable showing off his skills, and he eventually lands his dream job.
