Ken Mathieson

Possessing over three decades of experience in the profession, Ken Mathieson is a wealth management professional who has worked with a variety of firms over the years. Before starting his career, Ken Mathieson studied marine transportation at SUNY Maritime College, although he departed the college not long into his first year.

While at the SUNY Maritime College, he was able to obtain a Third Mate U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Tonnage license. Following this, he spent several years working with a variety of firms before returning to academia and attending Fairleigh Dickinson. In 1986, Mr. Mathieson graduated from the university with an MBA.

Since then, he has worked with a variety of financial organizations, such as Prudential Securities and Morgan Stanley, where he served as a wealth manager. Since 2017, Ken Mathieson has served as the managing director of Laidlaw Asset Management, where he oversees a variety of corporate executive services. Outside of work he enjoys several hobbies, such as attending Broadway plays.
