Ken McCarthy is the Springboard Coordinator at Waterford Institute of Technology. He's responsible for the promotion and recruitment to a range of strategically funded programmes aimed at job seekers.
A serial entrepreneur, Ken has launched several business and has worked also in the family motor business. He is always open to new opportunities and challenges. Previous business that he has owned or worked in include E-ZONE.ie which was a digital print shop and internet cafe, MotorNET.ie which was one of the first motoring websites in Ireland and as a project manager with Motorola Inc. He also worked in retail and spent 15 years working as a DJ (but is currently retired).
He is Interested in education, web development, digital printing, digital photography and music and the way technology can make our lives easier. Constantly developing new ideas he has strong experience of hands on business management and of making things happen.
