I have sports industry experience dating back to 2003, encompassing the professional, minor league and collegiate levels. My background includes time in ticket sales, service, corporate sponsorship and communications. Three avenues in which I want my career to follow are:

1) A communications-based role to utilize my journalism degree. Examples of desired titles that I ultimately wish to attain in this arena include Sports Information Director, Director of Media Relations, etc... I enjoy sharing sports information with a mass audience, and especially take pride in being the first and/or exclusive source for that information. Accuracy and detail are a part of my nature.

2) Sales/service/account management: I have more than three years in this area of sports and take pride in forming, as well as maintaining, client relationships. I have a proven history of exceeding sales goals and customer expectations. My approach to helping clients find the perfect seat is to look at a situation and ask, "Would I buy this seat for myself?"

3) Corporate sponsorship, as the account executive-client relationship is more involved and more of a two-way street compared to ticket sales. I enjoy establishing relationships with people, and sponsorship allows for that to occur at a deeper level by helping others gain recognition. Sponsorship allows this in the form of signage, on-site elements and advertising through various forms of media.

On a personal level, much of my life involves sports, music and travel in some form or combination.
