Ken Muli is an Africa based journalist and media and communications professional specializing in international affairs, climate, diplomacy, and global governance.

He began his career as a general news writer and editor at the Kenya News Agency within the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, before transitioning to behind the camera production roles at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). At KBC, he conceptualized and produced a weekly analytical programme examining Kenya’s political and economic landscape, including in depth coverage of the 2022 General Election.

In 2024, Muli joined the Africa News team under China Global Television Network (CGTN), contributing to continental coverage of climate change and environmental policy.

Over the years, he has reported extensively on Kenya’s climate action agenda, healthcare systems, and political developments, including coverage of the 2024 and 2025 Gen Z led protests, climate impacts and policy responses, and evolving healthcare reforms from 2020 to the present.

Muli has interviewed a wide range of senior leaders and decision makers, including the Head of the Kenya Medical Research Institute, the Kenya Investment Authority, and the Vice President for Planet at the World Bank’s Climate Change Group, Juergen Voegele, among many other prominent newsmakers across Africa.
