Kenneth J. Annis is the lead attorney of the firm and has an AV rating with Martindale Hubble (its highest rating for attorneys). He received his A.B., cum laude, from Harvard University in 1965 and his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1972. He was admitted to the District of Columbia bar in 1973; U.S. District Court in 1976; U.S. Supreme Court in 1976; Maryland State Bar in 1980; U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in 1985; and U.S. Court of Appeals in 1987. He has served as President of the American Board of Trial Lawyers and the George Washington Inn of Court; he has also served on the Ethics Committee for the DC Trial Lawyers Association and is an active member of the DC Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association), and the George Washington University Inn of Court. He has provided leadership to many civic and professional organizations and is a member of several other prominent associations. Mr. Annis is fluent in French.
