Kenneth Haley maintains a solid reputation in the Maryland legal community as a skilled and knowledgeable courtroom attorney. Until February of 2012, he provided general representation and defense counsel through The Haley Law Firm, LLC, a practice he founded in 2007. With a focus on family, criminal, labor, and employment law, Mr. Haley possesses thorough knowledge of applicable statutes and mandates related to disability discrimination, damages and remedies, labor relations, government contracting and fiscal law, Section 1983 civil litigation, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, as well as all ADA amendments instituted after the act’s passage.

Today, Mr. Haley lends his expertise to Washington, D.C.’s General Services Administration, operating in the capacity of Acting Legal Advisor and Counsel in cases of employment discrimination. Kenneth Haley embarked on his career in the legal sector after completing his studies at The John Marshall Law School, in Chicago. He undertook a clerkship at the City of Chicago Consumer Services Department, primarily advocating on behalf of his employer at various administrative hearings. He also assisted in conducting child support compliance investigations during his yearlong tenure at the agency. After serving as a Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Chicago, Kenneth Haley transitioned into a role as Assistant Corporation Counsel, aiding the Chicago Police Department in carrying out matters of due process. Contributing to the resolution of cases involving excessive force, police misconduct, and discrimination claims, Mr. Haley gained a solid foundation in civic law. Aside from his accomplishments in the legal field, Kenneth Haley boasts distinction as a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran. Honored for his seven years of service with a Combat Action Ribbon, a National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, and a Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, among other awards, he continually strives to contribute toward the greater public good in his professional undertakings.
