With a breadth of experience as a business executive, Kenneth Bloom serves as president and chief executive officer for INTTRA, Inc., a leading e-commerce and supply chain solutions company headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. Established in 2000, INTTRA has the world's largest ocean carrier network comprising companies including internationally recognized names such as Maersk Lines, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), CMA-CGM, American President Lines, Zim Lines, and Hapag-Lloyd. In his leadership role, Kenneth Bloom has successfully overseen the implementation of corporate strategy, has recruited and trained executive leaders, and led a complex recapitalization program which included private equity firm, ABS Capital Partners. As a result, INTTRA today has almost a 25% global market share and a global B2B brand name that is well-recognized in the shipping industry.
Kenneth Bloom began preparing for his career as a student at The University of Chicago, where he earned the College Honor Scholarship (for each of four years) and graduated with a bachelor of science in mathematics. After working for management consulting firm, Bain and Company, in Boston, MA, he gained acceptance to Stanford University, where he received the prestigious Century III Leadership grant from Shell Oil Corporation. He graduated from Stanford with a master of science in operations research.
