Kenneth Frederick Walter (born 4th August 1958) is an Orthopedic Surgeon currently serving (since October 2018) as the Medical Director in the Special Operations Surgical Team under the United Nations Assistance Mission in Yemen (UNAMA).

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Frederick was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to a prominent family, His father was an Engineer and his Mother (Italian descent) was a successful businesswoman. In 1975 he completed his High School from Staple High School in Westport CT, He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut at Storrs and received his MD degree from Georgetown University. He completed five years of Orthopedic Training Residency at the University of Pennsylvania

CAREER

Dr. Frederick was the Division Head of Orthopedic Surgery at Burgdorf Health University Connecticut, He is currently working in Yemen under the United Nations Authority as the Medical Director of Special Operations Surgical Medical Team and Paramedics Medical Emergency Response Team.

PERSONAL LIFE

Frederick was born in Connecticut, He is the only child of his parents, he lost his father (Engr. Allen Kenneth) at the age of 11 years, Walter grew up with his mother in Connecticut who passed away about a year ago after her long-suffering from paralysis from the shock of her husbands' death. Walter got married to Helena Travis a Chattered Account and they had a daughter together. Helena died during the process of giving birth to their second child on 10 October 2009.
