Kenneth J Thompson

Kenneth J Thompson is a published author/poet, a freelance video/photo journalist, and a songwriter/producer that realizes that words mean more than what is set down on paper. He has a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business, as well as a master’s in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. He will soon have his second master’s degree in New Media Journalism also from Full Sail University.

His passions for being totally informed about world events, so as to make conscious choices without being blindsided, has led Kenneth J Thompson to pursue a career in journalism. Having the innate gift of painting pictures with words allows him to convey the feelings behind those words to his readers. Realizing that truth is often hidden in journalism it is the intent of Kenneth J Thompson to present the truth in a way where people are truly informed.

He is the author of the books Heartprints Book I and Book II. He is also a writer and editor for Songsational Music, as well as a commentator and correspondent for Channel 5 Jive, Adventures Around Atlanta and Cowboy Nation Live. With his pen and camera he is creating avenues for Atlanta’s local artists to share their voice while sharing news to enthuse. As an advocate for truth, Kenneth J has kept a journal for the better of his life recording and documenting world history as it happened. It is his intent to leave a record about the life of everyday people.

While he longs to gain experience in a professional newsroom setting like WSB-TV2, he dreams to give a voice to those without a voice. Whether it’s in the form of a song, spoken word or interviews, a perspective from those without a voice always balances the perspective of those who speak fervently.
