Kenneth Sturgill

Ken (K2) Sturgill is a Major in the Civil Air Patrol. He holds multiple ratings including Mission Observer, Air Operations Branch Director*, Urban Direction Finding & Ground Team. In addition to Search and Rescue, both on the Ground and in the Air with CAP, he is also an advisor to the California Wing Color Guard and the Deputy Commander for his Squadron in the Cadet Programs.
He is a 25 year member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, he has served his community in a variety of charitable roles across the State and the Nation.
Professionally, Ken is an executive in Aviation Management, having experience in commercial aviation both “above” and “below” the wing, he has been responsible for as many as 14 Airports at the same time ranging from Anchorage to Honolulu.
Additionally, he is a certified NRA Rifle and Pistol instructor, specializing in Firearms Safety and Responsable use for first time owners, families and youth.
