A recent graduate from University of Maryland - University College obtaining his Masters in Nonprofit Management and African American studies major and Asian American studies minor from University of Maryland - College Park, he is currently working for Argonne National Laboratory in Washington, DC. He has extensive volunteer and internship work which started as being a mentor and program coordinator for Campus Mentoring Bigs (a mentoring group for minority freshmen). He did this for for 2 years. He also interned for National Japanese American Memorial Foundation for 9 months as an executive assistant located in NW DC (has since moved).
Along the way, he has developed many skills to help make him a well-rounded person. Such as obtaining mentoring skills especially when it comes to students and issues involving schools and schoolwork. He also has obtained just under 3 years of troubleshooting skills while working for Office of Academic Computing Services on the UMD campus. Also, over his tenure at Argonne National Laboratory, he has obtain various skills and knowledge in the HR field that includes contracting and assisting in the hiring process.
Over the recent years, he has self-taught the use of Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher. All at the same time keeping himself abreast with the latest social media technology such as Google+, Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram as well as starting his own blog, Know Your Role, a blog about everyone understanding their roles in life.
