Kennitra Thompson
Jackson, MS
Kennitra Thompson is a 23 year-old native of Jackson, Ms. She currently attends Jackson State University as a mass communications major and is an alum of Murrah High School and Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, CA.
She is the reining Miss Rankin County Southwest and former Miss Black MS. She is the owner of Krown Keepers Pageantry, a pageant coaching business that trains children and adults in pageantry. She also teaches ballet at Dollhouse Dance Factory.
As of last year, she traveled to London, England to perform for the Summer Olympics festivities and has also been recognized by former Mayor Harvey Johnson Jr. and the city council as an Outstanding Citizen of Jackson MS.
She is a recent survivor of a very rare disease entitled Steven Johnson Syndrome, she is a proud Organ Donor, and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
