As a student, Kenny co-founded Louisiana State University's student organization I am Entrepreneur. Within its first year, the organization not only won the "Best New Student Organization" award at LSU, but the state senate recognized I am Entrepreneur for its commitment to connecting students with local CEOs. The organization recently merged with the Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization chapter of LSU.

Kenny was also a regional finalist at EO Nerve's 2011 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards competition.
