Kenny is an assistant professor in the communication studies department of the the Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts at Rowan University, where he teaches television production and journalism classes.

Previously, as an adviser of both student television and newspaper, he has worked with students from around the world who win prestigious collegiate awards as they launch their careers. His students have won national honors from the College Media Association, the Society for Professional Journalists, two Emmy awards and a Pulitzer Prize.

An award-winning multimedia journalist, he is interested in innovation, broadcast, print and online journalism. Kenny reads (a lot), rides bikes (even more), travels, takes photographs and occasionally builds things out of wood.
