Hi, I'm Ken; I'm a first-time freshman majoring in Asian Studies. I plan to teach English as a foreign language abroad after graduation, and I've chosen to focus on the Korean language and the culture of South Korea. I'm the oldest child of (soon to be) three--being almost eighteen years older than my brother and over nineteen years older than my youngest sibling once they are born. I've always had pets and currently have one dog and one cat at my mom's house and one dog at my dad's house. I'm non-binary and I use they/them pronouns, though I know it can be difficult to get used to so I won't be mad if someone messes up. In my free time I enjoy listening to music (particularly K-pop, J-pop, J-rock, and punk pop), watching anime and cartoons, and making/wearing costumes of the characters I love aka cosplaying. I've made most of my close friends through cosplay and it has been a great creative and social outlet for me for years now. I also have always enjoyed reading and writing. My favorite genre is fantasy.
