Ken Steers

Ken Steers and his wife, Lielanie, are the proud parents of five children. Three of their children were adopted and integrated into their family. Ken's childhood experiences with his eight siblings have allowed him to provide the right emotional support and firm but caring environment for all of his children. For Ken and Lielanie, family is the most important element in true success.

Ken has experienced a number of serious challenges during the course of his life. As a child, he was a burn victim and spent an extended period of time in the hospital environment. During this recovery process, Ken learned the value of caring for others and making a difference not only in the workplace but also in the lives of those around him. He carried these lessons forward throughout his academic career and his professional life. By sharing his talents and his dedication to excellence with others, Ken has been able to achieve success in a wide range of fields that include construction work, firefighting, military service and freight transportation.

Ken currently works for leading transportation firm Freight Solution Providers as an international router. In this capacity, he interacts with clients from all over the world to ensure that their shipments arrive on time and in perfect condition. Ken attributes much of his success in this fast-paced and demanding field to the continuing support of his wife and his family. By building a loving and supportive environment at home, Ken has achieved a higher degree of success in all that he sets out to do.
