Kent Norris

I grew up in England, Utah, and in Oregon as a teenager. I came to BYU after my two year LDS missionary service in Pennsylvania, and studied English Language, and after went to Oregon State University and received a M.S. in College Student Services Administration. I also received a Graduate Minor in International Relations. I focused my work on the student development theories of Nancy Schlossberg, and completed a thesis examining the Marginality and Mattering amongst Middle Eastern students at American Universities. While there, I worked for OSU’s visitor center, running the tour guides and on campus visitation programs. I love working for BYU. I love working with the people I work for and the colleagues I work around. I married my soul mate, Eliza, and we have two beautiful children, Keira and Winston. Eliza is from Australia, and with my roots still attached to England, we love to travel, and do so often.
