Ken Taylor

Amherst, Massachusetts, United States

I am a Junior sport management major in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, maintaining a 3.86 GPA. Currently, I am also on track to complete my major credit requirements and graduate in 2016. Being at UMass has helped me realize my passion for working in the sports industry. As a manager for the university football team I have been introduced to the life of college athletics, and I love every minute of it.

This position has given me the desire to work in professional football, or even with another college program in the future as I break into the industry. Being a part of a close-knit staff has allowed me to grow my teamwork skills and increased my drive to work in sports. As an out-of-state student from New Jersey it has also filled me with a great sense of school spirit and pride for UMass.

In the future I am interested in working hands-on with athletes, in college or professional football programs. I want to work in player development/personnel, and possibly become a scout for a pro team.
