Kent Smith

Kenton (Kent) Smith is a free-lance composer, producer, songwriter, mixer, guitarist and vocalist. He has studied film scoring at UCLA, has fronted several bands and has worked with various artists as producer, engineer and mixer. He is best known for his large, multi-layered soundscapes that often include elements of textural / ambient guitar and hints of industrial sound design. Kent's most recent projects include scoring portions of the feature length film Daylight Fades as well as a series of internal marketing videos for Smith and Nephew. These can be heard in the media section of this site. Kent also just finished additional score and music for the short film "Prodigal" starring Kenneth Branagh. He is about to begin work on Macedonia Film's "Avarice."
