Ken Termini’s professional journey began after he graduated from Penn State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He started his career at Revlon, but he truly made his mark at Forest Pharmaceuticals, spending 27 years with the company. He earned a reputation for excellence throughout his tenure, receiving several prestigious awards, including Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year. His leadership skills were quickly recognized, and he was promoted to lead the State Government Affairs Department before transitioning to run the Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs Department during the critical years of the Affordable Care Act’s implementation.

A strong focus accompanied Ken’s professional achievements in long-term financial planning. At the age of 19, he was advised to divide his life into thirds: one part for learning, one for hard work, and one for enjoying the benefits of a well-lived life. By following this advice, Ken could retire at 50, having built a secure financial foundation through careful planning, real estate investments, and collaboration with trusted advisors.

In addition to his corporate success, Ken has been a dedicated high school basketball coach since 1990. He has coached at Palisades and Palmerton High Schools in Pennsylvania, earning recognition for his coaching skills, including being named Boys Basketball Coach of the Year in 2015. His leadership led his team to win the District 11 Class 3A title in 2019, and he also founded the Colonial League Boys Basketball Coaches Association to highlight the achievements of top players in the league.

Ken’s passion for physical fitness extends beyond basketball. He is also an accomplished open-water swimmer, participating in several events along the New Jersey Shore. One of his notable accomplishments includes a 3.5-mile swim at Wrightsville Beach. Additionally, Ken actively participates in the New York City SEAL Swim, a fundraising event that supports the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Today, Ken Termini is focused on helping college students transition into their careers through his consulting firm, Career Launch Consulting. By specializing in preparing students for job interviews, he works to ensure they can effectively leverage their academic experiences when entering the workforce.
