Over a decade of combined experience in electronics engineering, product development, project management, testing, manufacturing and field support. I have technical proficiency in electrical architecture, specification, component selection, analog, digital & mixed-signal circuit design, firmware development, implementation, verification, board bring-up, debugging, and manufacturing. More importantly, I have often been the primary product driver responsible for the overarching development strategy, implementation and collaboration between engineering, management and operations. I bring to the table a unique combination of technical expertise and high-level product strategy and life-cycle comprehension. Therefore, in addition to being an individual contributor I can help improve product development workflows, foster collaboration, and kickstart market integration.
I most recently worked for a startup called Wrexx designing and overseeing the development of their crash detection & response products. In my short time there, I delivered a fully functional hardware prototype & app, I created a comprehensive product development plan, established dev budget, sourced components, finalized architecture, negotiated service contracts with ground control satellite communications & IERCC emergency response services, pitched our technical vision to secure clients, coordinated with client engineering teams and business partners, and oversaw our own dev team. My success in this role was prefaced by my various roles in engineering, product development but also a slew of personal projects, inventions and endeavors.
For example, I was a founding member of Advanced Rockets Corp. (a small aerospace startup). In the capacity of VP engineering and later Chief Manufacturing Engineer I was accountable for the entire value stream of R&D from product development to market launch. I coordinated with manufacturing partners to develop processes for manufacturing complex large scale aerospace components using a combination of traditional and additive processes. I also acted as a liaison between engineering and operations teams and worked alongside industry leaders in pursuit of a daring vision to revolutionize the worlds space economy.
I am an innovator, a problem solver and a self-starter and I am able to operate with a high degree of independence. I always find a way to get the project done.
