I'm a PhD student studying the evolutionary genetics of viral emergence at the National Institute of Genetics in Mishima, Japan. I previously worked on pathogen genomics and taught high school biology and statistics.
If I'm not in front of the computer, I'm usually behind the camera taking pictures, or under the sheets sleeping in during the weekend.
