Kent Wakeford

As a bi-coastal resident between Los Angeles, California, and Manhattan, New York, Kent Wakeford is an Internet entrepreneur and executive, dividing his time between professional duties as President of AdSafe Media, Inc. and advisor at Kabam, as well as philanthropic activities. As a co-founder of AdSafe Media, Kent Wakeford helped launch the business in May 2009 with a mission to ensure that online advertisements appear on content-appropriate areas across the websites. Since then, Kent Wakeford has helped build AdSafe Media, Inc. into a leader in the area of online ad verification space. Prior to his work with AdSafe Media, Kent Wakeford served as Senior Vice President at Clearspring Technologies, where he helped grow the company's viral sharing and widget platform to over 300 million users and established partnerships with leading social networks, blogs, and Web 2.0 companies. Wakeford joined Clearspring Technologies, Inc. after more than two years as President of Los Angeles-based The Enthusiast Network, LLC, an online community composed of lifestyle enthusiast websites, print publications, and video networks. By the time he sold The Enthusiast Network in April 2007, Kent Wakeford had developed the company into a major presence in the field of online publishing, with more than 35 websites, multiple digital magazines, and a platform for streaming video content. From February 1999 to October 2004, Kent Wakeford worked for AOL first in Silicon Valley and then in New York City as a Vice President and focused his attention on all aspects of business development. A member of the California State Bar Association and its Intellectual Property Section, Kent Wakeford served as an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and graduated with high honors from the University of Southern California Law School. Kent Wakeford holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
