Ken Van Liew has over 30 years of world-class construction, real estate development, and engineering experience with proven performance in every aspect of mixed-use projects from concept to occupancy. Ken began his career on the New Jersey Waterfront with the LeFrak Organization, progressed in supervision and upper management with Lend Lease Bovis and ultimately Director for prominent developers in New York City. He’s managed high-visibility projects that include 1200 residential units and 3 million square feet of commercial office.
Mr. Van Liew has consistently delivered projects on schedule and under budget for the largest developers in New York City; Steiner, CB Developers, SK Development, Ironstate, Forest City Ratner, Eichner, RFR Holdings, Davis & Partners, The Chetrit Group and Tessler Development. He has personally developed Autumn Woods Assisted Living, 72,000 sq. ft., 90-unit facility, Brightside Manor, 45,000 sq. ft. 60-unit geriatric facility and Liberty Village at Union Station, 49-unit residential townhomes.
Ken’s greatest strengths are project leadership, communications and hands-on experience. He has a strong background in at-risk construction and real estate development to ensure project success. His expertise also includes project approvals, design development and high-rise construction. feasibility, due diligence, design, preconstruction, site logistics, expediting, field supervision and project management are smoothly executed.
Ken received Master degrees from New York University in Real Estate Development, and New Jersey Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey and licensed Site Safety Manager in New York City.
