There's the time that I created video creation and distribution tools for broadcast and community media in NYC (Manhattan Neighborhood Network, some of the first videoblogs, content delivery via XML, the first tv station to stream 24/7) -- that was fun. And then I did a bunch of tech and art and activism stuff (Eyebeam, Unmediated, Screensaversgroup, OMDS) -- that was fun too. Then there was the time that I ran an online video studio (Rocketboom). I also made the web's go to resource for understanding internet culture (Know Your Meme) -- I loved doing that. Now I have a new company/consultancy doing some of the most interesting stuff in fan culture and audience development (Everybody at Once). Fortunately, I'm really enjoying that too.
