Bio

I was born in Istanbul, grew up in California (L.A.) and managed to turn my hobbies into professions. Except 1 year in Germany, I'm living in Istanbul, Turkey.

Programming

I am an SAP software architect, working professionally since 2000. My most significant hands-on experience revolves around large-scaled SAP applications written in ABAP, C# and Java. My PhD on Organizational Behavior provides my managerial framework

Writing

Music

I started playing keyboard and switched to guitars. Bass guitar has become my main instrument. Currently, I play for Gorkem, Afrotolia, JL Brazil Project and Bate Bumbo.

Previously, I played for BlueSaint, Asim Can Gunduz, Urban Cats, Zuzu, Kawoon, Beautiful Disaster.

Software

I am a software architect, developing business applications in ABAP, Java and .NET. Currently, I'm a partner of Cozumevi.

I wrote books (1st, 2nd) and articles on the subject, have a nice blog on programming, and a handful of open source pet projects.

Academic

I got my undergrad & master degree at Marmara University; specialized in Business Administration and MIS (in German). Currently, I am a PhD student in Yeditepe University, studying Organizational Behavior.

I am a semi-pro musician, performing and composing actively. I wrote a book and have a nice blog on the subject.
