Aspen Wallace

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Keren Aspen Wallace thrives the best when serving others. Growing up in the mountains of the Dominican Republic she spent most of her high school career either on her mountain bike or on the soccer field. Her willingness to help other pours out onto others to do the same. She began developing her passion for mountain biking in Colorado one winter, and then started riding in the DR. She has competed in several mountain races and has placed 1st in the
sprint
and 2nd in the full with her team. She was also the youngest girl to ever complete the Tour of Suffering (3 day mountain bike tour across the Dominican mountains) and the youngest girl to compete in a two day bike race in The Higuero, Survivor.
Playing soccer for the women's soccer team for Jarabacoa, her hometown, was a great accomplishment. Leading Doulos' girls soccer team to quarter finals two years in a row in the indoor soccer tournament, Copa Claro, was an eye opening experience for all the girls. Her willingness to strive and improve her skills and talents are inspiring.
She also started her own wood sign company Summer of 2014 in Tyler, Texas. Her business does very well and her talents keep improving. The love for art and creativity is poured into all she does.
Awaiting her next step in life and the next chapter in exciting. She will be attending Western State Colorado University fall of 2016 after taking a gap year in Europe being an Au Pair and learning German.
