A Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, Keri Bennett formerly served as a director of revenue management at Emory University Hospital’s Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia. While in this role, Keri Bennett gave two interviews to Becker's Hospital Review. In the interview titled “Pricing in health is complex, 'even for those of us who live and breathe it,’” she said hospitals and the health care industry should aspire to more collaboration on all levels. Based in part on past studies, she believes teams comprised of diverse professionals trained in multiple disciplines excel at producing results. Additionally, she sees benefits to including stakeholders early on in health care-related discussions to identify important requirements.
Ms. Bennett laid the foundation for her career by studying economics at the University of Georgia. She achieved the Healthcare Financial Professional certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2019. An HFMA member, she has volunteered to assist with events at such locations as Open Hand Atlanta.
